Work History: In 1983, Anil Ambani joined Reliance Industries as the co-chief executive officer. He and his elder brother Mukesh Ambani took care of the company until differences cropped up in between them. Mr. Ambani played decisive roles while acquiring Adlabs - a movie production and distribution company. The recent assassination attempt on him also created much commotion within the country. The situation tensed up when the one responsible for averting the assassination was found dead within a few days of the initial attempt.
Anil had held discussions with Everton officials regarding a complete takeover of the football club. Likewise, he has also displayed an interest for acquiring Newcastle United football club. He participates in various marathons and often emphasizes on leading a stress free life.
